Taking Advantage of the Poker "System"

I'm still trying to cleanse myself of being a greedy chip whore this weekend, but like they say "Make hay while the sun shines." In a pointless attempt to regain lost credibilty PokerStars was not set on Impossible mode this weekend. Half day of vacation on Friday. I don't have to worry about taking care of the dog, so it's time to drink some beers and play a crapload of poker.

Logic, reasonable play by real human beings on large buy in games with the assumption that there is some kind of talent to acheive the chips to make the buy tells me that I shouldn't double my chip stack to 345k in a couple of days.

Last night I was present for what is now one of my top five Internet Poker Experiences. I click on to registering for a 25k buy in two table Hold'em sitter and

Wow. Here I am at an Omaha Hi Lo game. And one of my opponents acknowledges this peculiarity. The drama played out like an overstated attempt to make a point that says, "Hey, Xenu, there are real people here!" The chat became comical to me because they tried to "school" me on the proper way to play Omaha Hi Lo. Newsflash: Libya in turmoil and I've forgotten more about Omaha Hi Lo than most people will ever learn.

I've dedicated way too many hours and found the lack of reality so pervasive to let one game where I'm funneled into a game that I didn't register for to make me change my mind. At best, the software is so fucked up that you can't even trust that they can reg you right.

I have a new mission - it's time to give up living in this piece of shit country they call the US. Time to move somewhere when I can take my massive poker skills and male member to a place that I can play for real money. I'm just thast good.

And I lied. I don't have massive poker skills, I just recognize the system. But Jarah agrees about the other half of that sentence.
