Failed Damage Control

My focus has been on the lack of humanity. The past few months have shown a spectacular overcompensation in this area. So when I sat at a sitter with two Italians and a US player fluent in English player I had to raise an eyebrow as I marvelled at the non-stop inane chit chat.

Now, I have nothing against Italian girls. They make great companions for Mafia movies and can shave the hell out of Ice mixed with fruit syrup for a tasty treat. But this gal has me pondering the language usage. Why do you follow up a comment about "mi amor" (pretty sure that's 'my love') with "Kissssssssss"? There is an Italian word for kiss, and trust me, it's not 'kiss'.

For fun I called the moderator since chat is only supposed to be in English. After ten more hands it was finally shut down. I'm sure the chat rule is to be a barrier against collusion where non-English speakears post card information. Although I'm not fluent in Italian I could tell it was idle banter that basically amounted to "How is the weather?" But hand after hand it just got to be so annoying that I could tell it amounted to "Hi Xenu! You're wrong! There ARE real people playing the game!"

Not real people that went through the registration process and got a verification code yada yada yada...
